      Exploring the Configuration Environment: Setting Up for Seamless Data Management

      Welcome to the Configuration section, where administrators can manage the essential elements that structure the entire ESG data collection process. In this section, you’ll be able to configure and organize key components that define how your data is managed, reported, and accessed across the platform.

      What You Can Configure

      1. KPIs
        Create, manage, and edit the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that track your organization's ESG performance. Each KPI can be associated with various dimensions and periodicities to match your reporting requirements.

      2. Variables
        Set up custom variables linked to KPIs, adding flexibility to your data tracking. Variables can be used to capture specific data inputs or metrics that influence the performance of your KPIs.

      3. Users & Roles
        Manage user accounts and assign roles within the platform. This section allows administrators to create user profiles for data providers, validators, and managers, ensuring each person has the right access and responsibilities.

      4. Dimensions
        Organize data based on specific dimensions, such as business units, countries, or regions. By assigning KPIs to these dimensions, you ensure that data is captured and reported according to the company's structure.

      5. Translations
        Customize the platform to support multiple languages by configuring translations for KPIs, variables, and other elements. This is particularly useful for multinational organizations that operate in different regions.
