Edit introduction

Mastering the "Edit" Section: Creating and Managing Data Points and Workflows

The Edit section is where admins can create new data points, manage existing ones, and set up workflows. This is a crucial area for configuring how ESG data is organized and reported within the platform. Let’s explore how to leverage this section to optimize your ESG data management!

1. Creating and Managing Data Points

Data points represent your KPIs within specific contexts of time and space. In the Edit section, admins can create new data points to measure ESG metrics, ensuring they align with the organization’s reporting needs.

2. Building Workflows

Workflows are the backbone of ESG data management, integrating the platform's three key elements—Users, KPIs, and Dimensions. These workflows ensure that ESG data is managed according to the structure of your organization, allowing seamless collaboration between data providers, validators, and managers.

Admins can create custom workflows that:

  • Assign specific users to manage and validate KPIs
  • Organize data points by time, region, or other dimensions
  • Generate data points in bulk, saving time and ensuring consistency across various ESG metrics

3. Admin-Only Access

The Edit section is restricted to admins, ensuring that only authorized personnel can create and modify data points or configure workflows. This controlled access ensures the integrity and accuracy of the ESG data management process.

By effectively using the Edit section, admins can streamline ESG workflows, ensuring that KPIs, users, and dimensions are fully integrated for accurate data collection and reporting.
