The Variable Page is an essential tool for users who manage table-type KPIs, where rows and columns vary by categories such as functional roles, regions, minority groups, waste categories, and energy resources. Variables speed up the KPI creation process by allowing you to reuse structures, avoiding the need to rebuild KPIs multiple times. If multiple KPIs share the same variables, you can simply add the variable instead of recreating the structure.

Key Features of the Variable Page

In this section, users can:

• View all variables used in the system.
• Edit and manage the values of each variable.
• Create new variables and update existing ones.

How to Create a New Variable

1. Click the "New Variable" button.
2. Enter the variable category (e.g., functional category) and save it by clicking the save icon.
3. Add variable values by pressing the "+" icon, typing the value name (e.g., CEO, Directors, Managers), and saving it.

How to Edit an Existing Variable

1. Find the variable you want to edit (use the search bar for quick access).
2. Click the variable name, make any necessary edits, and save.
3. Follow the same steps to edit or add new variable values.
4. To add new values, click the "+" icon, type the value name, and save.

How to Disable a Variable or Value

1. Locate the variable or value you want to disable.
2. Click the eye-shaped icon to deactivate it.
3. The variable or value will remain inactive until reactivated.
