Optimizing the "Fill Data" Environment: Simplifying ESG Data Entry
The "Fill Data" environment is a crucial part of the ESG data management workflow, designed to make data entry efficient and user-friendly for data owners. This section allows data providers to input, review, and manage their assigned KPIs with ease.
The Two Sections of "Fill Data"

Pending
- This section displays all the KPIs and data points that are awaiting input from the data provider.
- Once a data point is filled out and completed, it automatically moves from the Pending tab to the Complete tab within the data owner’s view and will be migrated to the Validation environment for further review.

Complete
- This section holds all the data points that have been fully completed and are now ready to be validated. Once KPIs are filled, they remain here until they pass through the validation process.
How It Works
When a data owner clicks on a specific data point, a side panel will appear, enabling them to:
- Add the required data
- Leave comments for further clarification
- Attach evidence to support the data provided
After entering the information, users can either:
- Save the data as a draft if it needs further edits later
- Send it to Validation for review and approval
Final Note
Data owners will only see the KPIs assigned to them, ensuring that they focus on completing the specific ESG data points they are responsible for.
